I am currently an assistant editor for MIT’s Technology Review magazine, an internationally read publication that focuses on emerging technology. I work in editorial production for the print magazine and website, and produce web, video and print content. I also freelance for other, noncompeting magazines.
Before becoming a science writer, I worked in epidemiology at Columbia University, studied science and medical journalism at Boston University’s graduate program, and majored in writing and neurobiology at Sarah Lawrence College. I have been a lab technician and assistant, an after-school science teacher, an amateur astronomer, and an editor for a literary magazine.
My current science interests are robotics, hardware, software, innovative tech for developing countries, biomedicine, and astronomy.
