I am currently a staff writer for MIT’s Technology Review magazine, an internationally read publication that focuses on emerging technology. Previously, I freelanced for the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, the Alzheimer Research Forum, and Sky & Telescope magazine.
Before becoming a science writer, I worked in epidemiology at Columbia University and neurobiology at Sarah Lawrence College. I studied the general sciences, writing, and neurobiology as an undergraduate at SLC before obtaining a master’s degree in science journalism at Boston University’s Center for Science and Medical Journalism.
My current science interests are robotics, hardware, software, innovative tech for developing countries, biomedicine, and astronomy.
